公共卫生学院简介：

公共卫生学院概况： 贵阳医学院公共卫生学院是隶属于贵阳医学院的二级学院（贵阳医学院成立于1938年，是我国最早的9所国立高等医学院校之一）。公共卫生学院始建于1958年(原预防医学系)，1961年院系调整时停办，1985年恢复重建。历经数十载的努力，现已发展成为集教学、科研、社会服务为一体的预防医学高级人才培养基地和科研中心。学院下设13个教研室、3个行政管理科室、2个中心（国家级公共卫生实验教学中心和贵阳医学院毒性检测中心）和1个地方病科学研究所。现有在岗教职工81人，专任教师61人，博硕率93%，平均年龄37岁，教授及副教授36名，博士生导师1名，硕士生导师31名。教师中有十余人次获政府特殊津贴、全国“五一”劳动奖章、全国三八红旗手、全国优秀教育工作者、全国地方病防治先进个人、全国预防医学优秀科技工作者以及省部级突出贡献奖等荣誉，30余人次兼任全国各类专业学术委员会常务理事或委员。

学科建设：公共卫生学院现有1个二级学科博士授权点（毒理学）、2个一级学科硕士授权点【科学型：公共卫生与预防医学；专业型：公共卫生硕士（MPH）专业学位】、6个二级学科硕士学位授权点（劳动卫生与环境卫生学、卫生毒理学、儿少卫生与妇幼保健学、流行病学与卫生统计学、营养与食品卫生学、社会医学与卫生事业管理学）。有1门省级特色重点学科和1门省级重点学科（卫生毒理学），2门校级重点学科（卫生毒理学、环境卫生学）；3门省级精品课程（环境卫生学、营养与食品卫生学、医学心理学），5门校级精品课程和一门校级双语教学示范课程。有9个国家和6个省级教学、科研、社会服务平台【国家级公共卫生实验教学示范中心、全国高等学校特色专业（预防医学）、省部共建教育部重点实验室（环境污染与疾病监控实验室）、中央与地方共建高校特色优势学科实验室（公共卫生与预防医学实验室、地方病毒理及预防控制实验室）、中央财政支持地方高校发展专项资金项目（公共卫生与预防医学教学实验平台）、中西部高校基础能力建设工程实验室建设项目（公共卫生与预防医学实用型人才能力提升实训平台）、卫生部职业卫生技术服务机构、农业部农药登记毒理学试验单位、贵州省公共卫生与预防医学人才培养基地、贵州省公共卫生与预防医学研究生教育创新基地、贵州省普通高等学校本科示范性专业（预防医学）、贵州省高等学校实验教学示范中心、贵州省健康相关产品检验机构、贵州省法医司法鉴定毒物化学鉴定实验室】。

本科生和研究生教育：我院现有3个本科专业（预防医学、卫生检验与检疫、食品卫生与营养学），拥有省、市（州、地）CDC和卫生监督局（所）等20余家校外教学实习基地。每年面向省内外招收本科生320名左右、硕士生70名左右、博士生1-2名。目前有在校生910余名，其中本科生760余名，硕士生150余名，博士生5名。

科学研究和学术交流：近5年承担国家自然科学基金14项，国家“973”前期子项目、科技部国际科技合作重点项目、联合国儿童基金委员会(UNICEF)、世界卫生组织(WHO)、部省厅级科研项目120余项，目前在研项目40余项。主要研究方向有环境与健康、职业危害与健康、营养和食品与健康、妇儿保健与生殖健康、老年人群与健康、地方病流行病学和致病机制及防治、毒物联合作用机制及防治、社区卫生与健康促进研究等。获全国科技大会奖和贵州省科技大会奖各1项，中华医学科技奖二等奖、三等奖各1项，教育部全国高等学校自然科学二等奖1项、省级科技进步奖20余项。近年在国内外学术刊物上发表科研论文300余篇，SCI收录20余篇，出版专著或主编、参编教材20余部。我院近年有十余人先后留学或出访美国、法国、瑞典、丹麦、比利时、日本、荷兰等国家和地区，并与其相关教育和科研院所保持着良好的交流或合作关系。

技术服务：建于我院的“贵阳医学院毒性检测中心”于2001年通过国家计量认证，依托于该中心和上述国家级、省级资质平台，以及挂靠在我院的“贵州省健康教育师资培训基地”和“贵州省环境诱变剂学会”，公共卫生学院师生积极发挥专业优势，开展社会服务工作，为促进我国和贵州省公共卫生事业和经济社会发展做出了重要贡献。

SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH，GUIYANG MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Brief Introduction:Guiyang Medical University was established in 1938. It was one of the nine earliest national medical colleges and universities in China. School of Public Health in Guiyang Medical University was formerly known as the Department of Preventive Medicine in 1958, which was terminated during the intramural reorganization of departments in 1961 but restored in 1985. After efforts of decades, it became the center of education，research and public service in the field of  preventive medicine. School of Public Health consists of 13 teaching and research departments, 3 administrative departments, 2 central laboratory (National Public Health Teaching and Experiment Center and Toxicity Testing Center of Guiyang Medical University) and 1 research institution (Research Institution of Endemic Disease). Currently in the school, there are 81 staff, among which 61 are teachers. 93% of the teachers are master or PHD. The average age for the staff is 37. There are 36 professors and associate professors, among which 2 are qualified for supervisors of PHD students and 31 are qualified supervisors for master students. Over 10 person-times in school were honored with special government allowances, the national May Day labor medalist, the national pacemaker of women, national outstanding educator, national outstanding individual for endemic disease control, national excellent person of science and technology in Preventive Medicine and so on. More than 30 person-times are standing councils or members of various professional and academic committees.

Development of Departments: At present, there are one Doctor conferrable spot in the second level discipline (Toxicology), two Master conferrable spots in the first level discipline (Preventive Medicine and Public health), six Master conferrable spots in the second level discipline (Occupational and Environmental Health Science, Toxicology, Maternal and Childhood Health, Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Nutrition and Food Hygiene, Social medicine and health services management). The school has one key discipline on province level (Toxicology), two key disciplines on the level of university (Toxicology, Environmental Health Science), three provincial distinct courses (Environmental Health Science, Nutrition and Food Hygiene, Medical Psychology), five university distinct courses, one excellent bilingual course on the university level. Furthermore, the School of Public Health now has the capability and qualifications to undertake major projects in various health related areas, and the school is honored with eight national and five provincial titles in teaching, researching and providing social service (Please kindly find the names of projects, qualifications, experiment centers in the attachment file).

Postgraduate and Undergraduate Education:  There are four faculties for undergraduate program: Preventive Medicine,Health Management ,Health Inspection and Quarantine &  Food Hygiene & Nutrition in school. 19 off-campus teaching practice bases are from Provincial and municipal CDC and Health Supervision Bureau in different areas of Guizhou. About 300 undergraduate students, 70 graduate students and 1-2 PhD students from inside and outside the province are enrolled every year, and now there are totally 730 students in the school which 600 are undergraduate students, 130 are graduate students and 5 are PhD students.

Researches and Academic Exchanges: The projects are undertaken in the recent five years including: 14 Chinese National Natural Science Foundation projects, more than 120 projects such as pre subproject of National “973” Research program, key projects of international cooperation project in National Science & Technology Ministry’s program, projects of United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund(UNICEF), projects of World Health Organization(WHO), provincial projects and so on, as well as the ongoing projects are more than 40. The main research fields are: Environment Health, Occupational Health, Nutrition and Health, Maternal and Childhood Health, Reproductive Health, the health of age population, Prevention and Mechanic of Endemic disease, Prevention and Mechanic of Toxic, Community Health and Health Promotion etc.The school has made superior progress in the preventive medicine field, awarded the prize of National Conference on Science and Technology Award and Guizhou Provincal Conference on Science and Technology Award once each, won second and third prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology award one time each, obtained second prize of Natural Science Award of the ministry of education and more than 20 provincial awards. In recent years the School  has more than 300 publications of research papers in academic journals, which include more than 20 SCI articles. The staff members participated in more than 20 textbooks as the chief editor or co-editor. The school has made a great effort to develop international science communion and collaboration, more than 10 teachers as the visiting scholar worked in the universities and the institutes in USA，France, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Japan and Netherlands. The School has established friendly and collaborative relationships with these universities and the institutes after these staff members finishing their work.

Technical Service:  The Toxicity Testing Center of School of Public Health,Guiyang Medical University has passed the China Metrology Accreditation (CMA) in 2001. Depending on these such as Toxicity testing center,National Provincial Qualification Platform Guizhou Teachers training base for health education and Guizhou Environmental Mutagen Society (GEMS), we carry out the social service work by exerting the preponderance of specialty, we make our important contributions to develop Economy and Public Health Service in China and Guizhou Province.
